Elevating Women’s Civic Leadership & Advocacy

Problem

The Mississippi Black Women’s Roundtable (MS BWR), a statewide network advancing economic security and civic power for Black women and girls, needed a coordinated media strategy to elevate its advocacy work and strengthen its influence in state and national conversations.

Solution

We delivered an integrated communications plan—crafting narrative frameworks, executing targeted media outreach, launching branded digital campaigns, and supporting major events including Essence Festival and The Color Purple premiere—while coordinating press briefings and stakeholder engagement.

Results

MS BWR secured national and regional coverage across PBS’s Amanpour & Company,Yahoo News, and Mississippi Today, generating 2.56B media impressions. These efforts broadened public awareness, deepened policymaker engagement, and positioned MS BWR as a trusted voice in civic justice and women’s advocacy.
