ADVISOR — ONE WORLD ASSOCIATES (Washington, D.C.)

One World Associates, a women-led boutique communications collective with a global footprint, is seeking an Advisor.

This role is designed for a seasoned Washington insider with 20+ years of deep experience in politics, lobbying, campaigns, or on Capitol Hill. We're looking for someone who has operated at the highest levels of government and is ready to bring that expertise to a values-driven practice doing meaningful work across a diverse client base.

Ideal background includes:

  • 20+ years in D.C. politics, government affairs, or campaigns

  • Former senior Hill staffer, principal, or lobbyist

  • Deep issue-area expertise and established relationships

  • Experience advising senior decisionmakers

You’ll consult on earned media & media relations, political & issue strategy, crisis & reputation management, strategic positioning & thought leadership, and digital strategy & social media.

This opportunity is designed for established practitioners—those with a journalism or politics background who have built a career, developed their own client relationships, and know what they stand for. Whether you’re running a solo practice or a boutique firm and are curious about the right collaborative home, we’d love to connect.

Ideal background includes:

  • Journalism, media, or politics experience

  • Existing book of business or client roster

  • Solo practitioner or boutique firm owner

  • Based in D.C. or New York

  • Interest in a true partnership model
